There are documentary records referring to paclobutrazol (PBZ) as a growth bioregulator that inhibits the gibberellin synthesis and its application increases yields in fruit vegetable crop productions. Its agronomic management includes it an emerging technology reduce vigour, promote flower induction development trees with increased economic returns. use is banned some countries because of concerns about residues can cause harmful effects on environment. Therefore, aim this article was collect, analyse summarise relevant information PBZ tree production possible risks The results obtained indicated be effective solving problems related flowering if applied right amount at time. However, necessary elucidate physiological processes which associated response taken into account increase yield. currently used such mango, lime, apple guava, increasing their productivity. studies have shown residual effect viable strategy, presents series advantages trees. vital generate protocols seek regulation rational sustainable approach.
